WHO IS THE MINERALS GUY?
Steven Hatcher is the creator of Minerals Guy. He is an entrepreneur, professional mineral buyer and licensed attorney. He has spent the last decade buying, selling and developing oil and gas properties all across the country. During that time, he has worked for oil and gas operators, mineral acquisition companies, and as an attorney practicing oil and gas law. He has actively participated in the acquisition and development of operated, non-operated and mineral properties across 8 different states and multiple producing basins. He is an expert in the land and legal aspects of mineral development, and has significant experience in the underwriting and valuation of deals. He is a native of Baton Rouge, LA, but has lived in Denver, CO since 2014. He is married and has two young sons. He is an avid golfer and fly fisherman, and enjoys spending time in the great outdoors.
